Describe the working environment at Quoniam in three words. <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dynamic, collegial, exciting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does a typical day look like for you?<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In People & Development, every day is different. In conversations with colleagues, topics always come up spontaneously. But a few things repeat themselves: in the morning, I start by checking my emails to see what is urgent and prioritise my to-dos. We also have a call every day in which we exchange ideas as a team. At least three times a week I have job interviews that need to be prepared and followed up on. At the moment, I am also regularly involved in clarifying Corona issues, to which we often have to respond at short notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In People & Development you are also a central place for many colleagues who have a personal concern, aren’t you?<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, it makes a big difference whether I work from home or in the office. In the office, you are more often approached spontaneously. But that’s what we’re here for. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How long have you been with Quoniam?<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

14 years already. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wow, you must have experienced a lot. What is your highlight so far?<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I still remember the day I came back from my honeymoon. My entire office was covered in wedding decorations – I could hardly get in. My colleagues put a lot of effort into it and I was really happy to see what they had put together. Everyone who came by that day congratulated me and asked me how it was. After the wedding and the honeymoon, your mind is far away from work. It was great to have such a nice, easy re-entry again. That was back in July 2008 – many more great things have happened since then, but I remember that day particularly well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are the biggest challenges in your job?<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the challenging, but also beautiful aspects is the intensive cooperation with very different people, to whom you have to adjust again and again – from applicants to colleagues who come to us with their concerns. From a professional point of view, the often tense applicant market is of course challenging. Many positions are not so easy to fill and you have to fight for talent. It is all the more satisfying when I have managed to bring someone on board and convince them of Quoniam. But it’s almost more important to keep colleagues. After all, good HR work does not end with the hiring. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you are not working for Quoniam, what do you like to do?<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I spend time with my two girls, am out hiking, meet friends or go out for a delicious meal. A big highlight was a paragliding flight in the Allg\u00e4u – definitely worth repeating! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your hiking tip in the Taunus?<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Conradsberg in the Hintertaunus. In general, it is advisable not to choose the classic routes around Fuchstanz, but to drive in a little further. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
