Frankfurt am Main, 21 July 2026 <\/strong>\u2013 Quoniam Asset Management is expanding its range of systematic equity strategies to include a Global Active Extension strategy. This new solution applies the proven concept of the European Active Extension strategy to a global equity universe. This meets the demand from professional investors within the cooperative financial group as well as from abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reference point is Quoniam\u2019s European Active Extension Strategy, which combines science-based equity forecasting with a systematic approach to portfolio construction. This enables both positive and negative equity forecasts to be incorporated into the portfolio, thus tapping into return potential on both the long and short sides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The performance of the European strategy is seen as evidence of the approach\u2019s viability. Its flagship fund, the European Equities Fund, has achieved an average annual return of over 23 per cent over the last three years and is on the verge of reaching two billion euros in assets under management. In January 2026, it was awarded the rating \u2018outstanding\u2019 by FONDS professionell as part of the German Fund Awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new strategy focuses on a global investment universe and can therefore also capitalise on opportunities in the US and Asian markets. It remains based on Quoniam\u2019s scientifically sound, data-driven approach, which the company has been refining for more than 25 years. \u201cWith the global active extension strategy, we are applying a proven approach to a significantly broader investment universe. In doing so, we are creating additional opportunities for diversification and tapping into new sources of return for our investors,\u201d says Dr Volker Fl\u00f6gel, Chief Investment Officer at Quoniam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fund manager Roc\u00edo Mu\u00f1iz, Portfolio Management Equities at Quoniam, adds: \u201cThe active extension approach gives us additional scope to consistently implement positive and negative forecasts. At the same time, the strategy remains committed to our core principle of diversified, systematic investing with clear risk control.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new strategy is aimed at investors who wish to expand their equity allocation with a diversifying approach, tapping into additional alpha potential while maintaining full market exposure (beta 1). According to Quoniam, the continuous net inflows into the European strategy highlight the confidence of a broad investor base in a systematic investment process that has been implemented consistently for years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
