Quoniam expands its UniActive Q family of active ETFs with an emerging markets product

Frankfurt am Main, 13 May 2026 – Quoniam Asset Management, a leading systematic asset manager and subsidiary of Union Investment, is expanding its active ETF platform, UniActive Q, by adding an emerging markets strategy. The new ETF follows Quoniam’s proven enhanced approach, focusing on broad, diversified exposure to emerging market equity markets supplemented by targeted, risk-controlled active positioning. By doing this, Quoniam is responding to sustained high demand for efficient, transparent, cost-effective solutions for emerging market equities.

The latest UCITS ETF sub-fund, which focuses on global emerging market equities, has a total expense ratio of 0.3% per annum and is listed on the Xetra platform of Deutsche Börse. Like all products in the UniActive Q family, it is actively managed and benchmark-relative. At its heart lies Quoniam’s scientifically sound, data-driven investment process, which combines systematic forecasting models, machine learning, and rigorous risk management.

Natural next step in the expansion of the UniActive Q family

With its new Emerging Markets ETF, Quoniam continues the gradual expansion of its UniActive Q ETF range. Following the successful market launch of the Equities Global Enhanced and Corporate Bonds Euro-Enhanced ETFs in December 2025, the new fund adds a key equity component for global portfolios to the product range.
