The European Small Caps fund is also growing significantly: the retail fund has reached around EUR 180 million, whilst the strategy as a whole stands at just under EUR one billion.
Frankfurt am Main, 22 October 2026 – The European Equities fund managed by Quoniam has surpassed the EUR-two-billion-mark in assets under management, raising more than EUR one billion since the start of the year. A diverse investor base, and demand for a highly diversified investment strategy have driven this interest in the European equity strategy.
“As a counterbalance to highly concentrated portfolios, our strategy capitalises on the diversity of the European investment universe: over 3,000 shares analysed daily, and more than 400 positions in the fund. We systematically identify return opportunities, regardless of short-term market trends.” said Dr Lisa Herr, portfolio manager at Quoniam and responsible for the European Equities Fund.
Over the past three years, the fund’s performance has consistently ranked in the top quartile of its peer group in the eVestment database, achieving an average annual return of over 23 per cent during this period (as of September 2026). On 28 January 2026, the fund was awarded the ‘outstanding’ rating by FONDS professionell as part of the German Fund Awards. Portfolio manager Dr Lisa Herr was recently named ‘Best Fund Manager’ by the Handelsblatt Research Institute for the third time in a row.
The composition of the investor base demonstrates just how widely the strategy is now in demand.
“Demand is no longer limited to traditional institutional investors. Family offices, banks and asset managers from both Germany and abroad are increasingly turning to systematic equity strategies.” said Dr Volker Flögel, Chief Investment Officer at Quoniam.
Quoniam is also recording strong growth in the European small-cap segment: the small-cap retail fund, launched in June 2025 and also managed by Dr Lisa Herr, has already reached assets under management of around EUR 180 million. In total, assets under management for the European small-cap strategy have risen to just under EUR one billion.
