Quoniam wins World-class Workplace award for Best in DACH by Effectory
Together with Effectory, one of the leading employee feedback providers, Quoniam ran an employee engagement survey in 2022. We are proud to announce that the feedback our employees provided confirmed that Quoniam is an excellent place to work and that we have been awarded the Effectory World-class Workplace Award for Best in DACH 2022-2023.
Organisations receive the World-class Workplace label only when they score above the benchmark average for both Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) and employership scores based on key topics such as work enjoyment, wellbeing, workload, company culture and work environment and conditions.
Listening to employees pays off
In the face of significant challenges posed by the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine, Quoniam managed to foster an environment in which our employees remained committed and engaged.
“Our people have always been and always will be our greatest asset, and we are delighted to receive this award from Effectory. It shows that we are on the right track and that it pays to listen to our employees.”

CEO, Managing Partner
We have always recognised that our success is closely linked to the happiness of our employees. That is why Quoniam is not only committed to excellence in the financial sector, but also to our employees. Over the years, we have implemented several employee feedback solutions: Central Employee Engagement Surveys, strategic pulses; such as Hybrid Work Scan, and themed Pulse Surveys.
Points of pride
Between 2020 and 2022, Quoniam faced a series of external challenges that could have affected their employees’ morale and dedication. However, the results of the Employee Engagement Survey showed that Quoniam’s workforce remained committed and engaged.
Among the factors that contributed to this resilience were the positive dynamics within teams, with a large majority of employees expressing satisfaction with the team’s atmosphere and level of trust. Additionally, Quoniam scored well above the benchmarks in areas such as work enjoyment, team collaboration, confidence in colleagues and managers, and the ability to share opinions freely. These results demonstrate Quoniam’s success in creating an inclusive and supportive work environment that fosters strong relationships and a sense of belonging.
Several aspects of Quoniam’s employee experience stood out as points of pride. The survey revealed that a significant percentage of employees expressed satisfaction with the team’s dynamics, the work environment and available resources, and collaboration within the organisation.
These positive responses underscore Quoniam’s commitment to creating a culture that values teamwork, providing a conducive work environment, and encouraging collaboration across the organisation.
Continuous improvement
While Quoniam achieved impressive results in many areas, we recognise the importance of continuous improvement to sustain employee engagement and commitment. The survey identified specific improvement topics that Quoniam is actively addressing. These include limited resources in some areas, work efficiency, better communication of the corporate strategy and strategic goals in staff communication. Quoniam is proactively addressing these improvement areas, reflecting their dedication to creating an environment in which their people are proud to be a part of.
For example, we have identified five key strategic projects that are currently of particular importance to the company’s development. The focus is now on these projects and the teams have more freedom to concentrate on them. In addition, we decided that all projects should be steered through the Objectives and key results (OKR) approach – a goal setting framework Quoniam has been using since 2018. With this approach, it is always transparent which area of the business is working on which topic and how each team contributes to the overall strategic goals. To achieve this, management sets quarterly strategic business objectives based on the progress of prioritised projects, which are explained in internal employee webcasts. Teams can then formulate their goals for the coming quarter and align them with the company’s goals. This not only helps to prioritise resources, but also creates transparency and shows how we are working together to achieve our strategic goals.
Conclusion
The World-class Workplace award shows Quoniam’s ability to maintain high levels of employee engagement and commitment during challenging times and is a testament to our organisational strength. By prioritising factors such as team dynamics, work environment, collaboration, and effective management, Quoniam has created a workplace culture that inspires employees to excel. However, we also recognise the importance of continuous improvement and are actively working on those areas that require further attention.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our employees once again for their honest feedback in the Employee Engagement Survey. Without their extensive participation, we would not have been able to manage our employee engagement measures in such a targeted way and would not have received this award. We are very grateful for this and look forward to continuing to receive open feedback from our colleagues.

About World-class Workplace
The World-class Workplace title is an esteemed excellence-in-employership label that is awarded annually to high-performing organisations. It is a distinction that cannot be bought and is solely based on the opinions and feedback of employees.
Through a comprehensive company-wide scan conducted by Effectory, organisations’ results are compared against Effectory’s benchmarks for employership. Only those surpassing these benchmarks are granted the World-class Workplace label.
